SENIOR WARDEN NOTES:
Holy Week begins early this month on April 2 as we start with Palm Sunday and end the week with our
celebration of Easter on April 9. Palm Sunday recalls the event of Jesus entering into Jerusalem. We will
have a special service with the Palm Sunday Liturgy of the Palms, including the Passion Gospel.
We will have a Good Friday service on Friday, April 7, at 7:00 p.m. Good Friday commemorates the crucifixion and death of Jesus at Calvary.
We will then conclude Holy Week with our lovely and holy Easter service on April 9 as we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus and his victory over death.
I encourage everyone to attend all of the Holy Week services as we follow the life story of our blessed Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. This is a very important time in the life of our church and all of Christianity.
Also, we will have 3 Sundays with Holy Eucharist this month.
