SENIOR WARDEN NOTES
The church season of Lent will continue all this month. Holy Week will begin on Palm Sunday, March 24th, and will continue through Good Friday, March 29th, and Easter Sunday, March 31st. We will celebrate Holy Eucharist on 4 Sundays this month. Also, we will have Liturgy of the Word on 1 Sunday and we will have a Good Friday service at 7:00 p.m. on March 29th.
I would like to invite you all to a brief meeting after the church service on March 3rd to discuss what you might like to see in a possible shared ministry with another nearby Episcopal church. Some possible things to think about would be how many times per month would you like to have a Holy Eucharist service? Something positive in a shared ministry arrangement is that we would have consistent clergy leadership, which we have been without for close to 2 years. Other items to think about are what would you like to see in the areas of pastoral care, community time, and office time in relation to a Priest? Another question would be if you would support any occasional change in service time or does the usual 10:30 a.m. time on Sunday work best for you? We need to know what you would like to see so that your Vestry can plan further. If you can’t attend but would like to provide some feedback please write down your thoughts and give that information to me. Your thoughts are very important and I hope to see as many of you as possible on the 3rd.
