SENIOR WARDEN NOTES
June will be here by the time that you are reading this and it will be another full month at St. Paul’s. We will have 2 Liturgy of the Word services and 3 Holy Eucharist services. The Holy Eucharist service on June 30th will include a visit from our new Bishop, The Rt. Rev. Kristin Uffelman White. There will also be a baptism on that date and a reception after the service. The child to be baptized is Wagner Shear, son
of Scott and Taylor Shear, and grandson of Jackie Wagner. Please be sure to attend on June 30th for this special service and joyous time.
We are continuing to work on a shared ministry arrangement with St. James Episcopal, Piqua. As of this writing (May 15) we have each given the Diocese financial information as to what we can afford to put towards a shared arrangement. The Jr. Warden and myself are scheduled to attend a meeting at St. James on May 18th and we will learn of the Priest options available for us. We will then take this information back to our respective Vestries for consideration. There will be updates soon after that. We are working
hard to keep things moving forward. Please feel free to ask us if you have any questions.
